Shoulder

Mr Jonathan Rees graduated from St Mary’s Hospital Medical School, London W2. He trained in orthopaedics in Oxford and has Specialist Fellowship training in routine and complex shoulder surgery. His NHS Consultant Post is at the renowned Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Oxford where he co-runs the Shoulder Service.

Mr Rees is also The University Lecturer in Orthopaedics at Oxford University and a Fellow of Pembroke College. He sits on the Research and Academic Surgery Committee of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and is also a Fellow of the British Orthopaedic Association and a member of the British Elbow and Shoulder Society. Mr Rees is involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical and surgical training. He runs postgraduate surgical training courses in Oxford and manages the Oxford Centre for Orthopaedic Surgical Skills where surgeons are trained in arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery.
